She sat ever so still

mind quite

heart calm

body relaxed

And she cried.

She cried the happiest tears

For in that moment,

she was free from who everyone else

wanted her to be.

She was no longer fearful of her

authenticity.

As radical as her needs were to modern society

she knew her truth,

Right then and there she decided to

stop hiding.

Right then and there she decided to

rewrite her life story.

Right then and there she grew up her wings.

Right then and there she realized

what freedom means.
